Tutorial in Blender 3D how to easy model the LEGO minifigure hands in 8 steps

Today i will show you how to to model the hands of a LEGO(TM) minifigure with Blender 3D. This tutorial is part of my blender 3d – series „make your own lego minifigure in blender 3d“ and is the last part of the tutorial, after this you can build your lego minifigure with the created parts

( You have to activate the first 6 layers to see the complete LEGO-Man)

Blender (Tutorial made with Blender 2.70)
Basic Blender Skills
1.) Create a cylinder with 6 verticles and scale it a little bit along the z-axis
2.)delete, the upper, the lower and the front face
3.)switch to edit-mode and extrude the whole selection
4.)add 2 cuts by pressing strg+r
5.) Select the face in the mid of the back and extrude it
6.) Select the 2 upper edges on the front site and move them down a little bit
7.)go to top view and scale the object a little bit – move front faces along the x axis (see yellow – arrow direction)
8.)add the subsurface modifier and set view and render to 3.
After sharping the edges (see green arrow direction) with loop cuts your object should look like this above

Congratulations, you finished the hands of your lego 3d minifigure model and your lego figure is now complete.
